2001 Tacoma disable FWD?
I need to use the L4 mode of my manual transmission, but with the front wheel drive disinaged. It looks like all the control is done within the front differential case. Any way to override this function to get basically an L2 mode?
Thanks

The twin stick requires you to take the transfer case apart, to remove the shifter rail lockout pin.....
Manual hubs require you to replace both front CV's and hub assemblies, usually you'll need to finda a donor vehicle and just buy the complete spindle assemblies, cost is around $500
Dual cases requires the most work.....but gives you much more gear options......
