2000 taco - 1 or 2 cats?

Did it come with one or 2 cats? Or did some have one and others 2?

All I have is the motor and 1 O2 sensor. No Vin. Anyway to tell how many cats it had?

Thanks

It depends on whether it was a cali spec or not. If so, then it had 2 cats, if not, then most likely one. Do you have the ECU? If not, then when you buy the ECU, get one thats not cali and you can get just 1 cat instead of 2. Other may have some better info than this, but its whatI have understood from reading different threads.

Well it's a canadian model so I'm not sure. I have the original ECU so maybe I can cross ref. it from that. Thanks
