2000 4Runner Seat Belt Lock Up
Hey everyone! As stated in the title, I have a 2000 4Runner (which I bought new and love to this day). My passenger will often have the seat belt lock up. Even them leaning forward to adjust the radio, use the ashtray, or sometimes just sitting there it will lock into place, causing the passenger to have to unbuckle the seat belt, let it return to the default position, then re-buckling. No other seat belt in the truck will do this. Is there some adjustment I can make to the sensitivity?

Seatbelts are not adjustable inside the mechanism. Sounds like something has failed inside the mechanism.
The other possible cause is that someone has changed the seatbelt and used a drivers side. They look exactly identical, but the guts are different.
