1. For those of you with 91 4runners with stock suspension and 31" tires .... What is the distance from the top of your tire to your fender (not including any fender trim)?
2. How do you get the black paint off of the grill? I read a post a ways back about it, but can't seem to find it again. Thanks.

Its alive and well! Thanks for asking. I am about to head back into the shop for a lift. Just trying to decide what parts, approaches, types, and everything else related to a lift I need to get and/or consider before I get started.
As far as how its running, never better. I made some minor adjustments, ran more fuel treatment through, and replaced some minors parts. The gas mileage sucks and it eats oil, but got to take the good with the bad. I am possibly looking into getting a dyno-tested motor down the road, but I am gonna drive this motor to the ground first.

If your not talking about the top of the wheel well just to the edge of the fender.
Then mine is 6.5" on front, 4.0" on back.
The back can vary from truck to truck because of ever popular butt sag.
