2" BL with same tires???
Right now I am running OME all away around with a daystar spacer in the front, and get about 3" of lift. I have 265/75/16 BFGs, and it looks nice.
However, I want to adda 2" BL, and get tires down the way. Would a 2" BL look weird with my current tires?

What size tire are you looking to move to? I'd probably wait & do both at the same time, it looks perfectly matched right now to me at least. Actually, it looks really nice right now.

Id like to go to 33's in the future. Not for another year or so however.
I might do a 1 1/2" BL or maybe just a 1" for now.

Hey Jackson!! Thank you!!!
Yeah, looks good actually. I will be getting 33's eventually, just not for a little while. Since the RB BL's are so cheap I wanted a little project to do
Could you send me the URL to his site? I've seen his truck before, but, I cant find the URL.
Thanks again

Ive read a heck of a lot on the BL installations...and it sounds as if you do not have to do any other modifications to the truck besides bumper bracket and steering extension, and maybe the fan shroud and shifting extensions if you want to.
But, I was checking under the hood today, and there seemed to be a lot of hoses and wires which were connected on the body, and crossed over to the engine itself, mounted on the frame.
There wont be any other problems that will catch me off guard when installing the 2" BL, correct?

I am also getting a BL but I am going to wait until I have the larger wheels on hand. I just put in SAWs in the front and OME in the back and it does not look too bad without the larger tires. The only reason I am going to get the BL at all is so that I can clear 285s or larger.
good luck.
good luck.

Go for it, I did it the other way around and am running 285s with just a Downey Adjustables and OMEs out back. Its not too bad if you take care of the pinch weld and pound here and there. There is rubbing, just not too bad. Here is a pic of when I had my fisrt suspension lift. This is going to be a little exadurated b/c they hadn't sebtled and were probably around 2.75" and the tires were 265 revos. But, for what its worth...
Basicly, it will make it look lifted rather than just big. Now (to me anyway...) I sometimes don't think my truck looks lifted because the tires fit in so well. Yeah its higher up, but it looks normal with the 285s. I can't wait to do a RB Bodylift! I'll have mine by the end of summer.

Here is mine just after we finished the 2incher ontop of the Downey Coilovers. Thoser are 265/75/16 bfg MT's. I didnt like the looks at all and picked up 285 MTRs the next day.
With the 285's...MUCH better.

Thanks guys for all the replies!
It does look as if Roger Brown is taking a vacation at the moment....so looks like I'll have to wait a few more weeks before getting it installed!
