2.7 Stripped Manifold Nut

Okay so this is my first post here and im thinkin its going to pretty helfpul. so im 15 and i just financed my self a 98 5spd 4wd 2.7 tacoma and im really excited to start workin on it, so i knew when i before i bought it that it had a cracked manifold as it was a common thing with these, so i picked up a manifold the day after i got it and today i started working on it. so i soaked all the bolts with wd40 and let sit for a half hour and when i started turning bolts i got every one off perfectly until i got to the last one(the lower one of the 6 closest to the firewall) the nut turned about 1/10 of a turn and then completely stripped all of the tips off of it in one quick break. i didnt even have time to realize it was stripping, it just slipped . so whats my best bet of getting it off? should i get a torx socket set and try the stud? im not sure if thats the best next step.. whats your thoughts?(sorry for the long story)

Can you get a nut splitter on it? You could also try grinding it off or using a Dremel to split it.....Good luck....

Vise Grips, or a hammer and chisel usually work for me, but the hammer and chisel require room, this may not work. the nut splitter is a good option.

I finally got if off after a wholde day of chizels and vice grips. i finally got a ride to the hadware store and bought a stippe nut extractor kit.. cost me 30 bucks i didnt want to spend, but it was worth it considering it only took 30 seconds to get the nut off with the kit. So all in all im pretty happy now that i fixed my manifold and my cuise control all in 2 days..
