1st Gen Rear Window Prob.

Has any one with a late model Runner had this problem?

In cold weather (40 deg F and Below) if the rig has not been running the rear window will not go down or up for that matter. But as soon as the rig runs for a bit it works fine. Their is also an itermitant tima at which you can hear the relay click but nothing happens. Is it one of the sensors, relay, wiring or the motor?

Wiring doesn't make sense because conduction goes up as things get colder.

I have not gotten out the volt meter and tested yet but I thought I would throw it out there and see what you guys thought.

THanks

Does it do the same thing even when you use the key? Mine did that a couple times, but only when I used the console switch. I think the switch is tempermental because it only happened those two times and it wasn't even cold out. Was after washing.....figure that one out......

My rear window in my 87 didnt work when I bought it and looked quite stupid with the top off and it still up, and we couldnt get the window to pop out, so we did the next best thing BFH dead center and it shattered in 1000s of pieces
