Question 1998 SR5 Fog Lights

I've had my '98 SR5 (3.4 V6) for a few months now. I went mudding at the garbage dump last week (hee hee), came home and washed her off. I guess I shouldn't have left the fog lights on because the cool water cracked both lenses. I pulled the fogs off and the insides were pretty rough - crackled, peeling chrome - probably still the originals. So I started my search for new fog lights today (enclosure and lens cover), and discovered Bosch, part number W0133-1623396, which supposedly fit. They have them here (http://www.autosparepartsusa.com) for $27.09 each. I went ahead and purchased, but not sure if they are really going to fit perfectly yet. Anyway, I found these lights and the 4Runner reference at Autohaus Arizona (http://www.autohausaz.com/). Here is a pic: http://sd.autohausaz.com/autohausaz/...1623396BOS.JPG Anyone have any clues if these fogs will fit for me? Also, does anyone have any sources for OEM fog lights? Thanks, Anthony

I don't understand how those Bosch lights you got would fit in the stock location. Where were they mounted? Maybe yours are not originals.

I've always seen the Hella Micro DE's referenced as the "OEM" fog lights. They look nice too:

Not that there's anything wrong with that mounting location, but those aren't original lights and that's not the stock location. The ones you ordered should be fine, just not OEM. If you're looking for the "OEM replacement" search for "Hella Micro DE" or click the link above.

OK. I gotcha. Well, I swung by Toyota today and the parts guy checked out my lights. He said they are not OEM as you said so I'm guessing that the lights I bought will not fit. Damn. I wish I knew where these lights came from. They sure look like a factory job. Thanks anyway, Tony

The fogs on the pre '99s were a dealer installed item and some varied dealer to dealer;the '99's fogs are directly from the factory.

So I've got my new Bosch H3 fog lights installed! They are a little slimmer then the Hella's that were installed by the prior owner, however, everything else fit like a charm. See attached. Thanks for the help!
