1997 t100 engine into 1996 toyota tacoma
Hey guys. I need some help in determining if i will run in to any issues if I install a 3.4 from a 1997 toyota t100 AT into my 1996 toyota tacoma v6 AT? The 3.4 from the t100 has a lot less miles and I am wanting to install a supercharger. Please help. Thanks.

3.4 5vzfe onto an a340e or a340f transmission? The 3.4 from the t100 is the 5vzfe, correct? (unknown to me) shouldn't be a problem linking the two up. Going supercharger with an automatic will need valve body modifications to the transmission. Without the mods, transmission won't last long. Plus fuel mods are recommend. Sorry for assuming you haven't done the research.

Yes, it will work, but you'll need the engine wiring harness from the Tacoma and you'll need to swap the oil pan from the Tacoma engine. This means moving the dipstick location. Search 3.4 swap on here.
