1997 limited high miles???? should i get it
Heres the link 1997 limited high miles but worked it out so i can get it for $7250. Do you think i should hold out for a lower miles like around 130K and maybe spend $9000 or should i just save the money and get the high miles yota.

There's plenty out there, you should hold out for something with less miles. Mine was a 97 with 174,000 and it was perfect, but now the next one will definitely have under 100,000. Might as well spend a little more that has around 40k less miles.

I paid $5700 for my SR5 with 180K Perfect shape but I waited 6 months So around 7K is a fair deal.
1.How long you want to keep this over 3 yrs.?
2.Will this be your daily driver?
when I got mine both of these were No for me. So I got a truck with higher miles and lower price.
now I am saying "yes" to these thanks yotatech

i've been seeing a bunch of 03-04 taco's and 00-02 runners pop up around here for some reason, more now than in may when i bought mine.
i'd hold out till one with fewer miles pops up.
you might luck out and find a 00 with a locker.

I'd offer him $6000 max for mileage that high......but no, I wouldn't be scared of the mileage. He'll have a tough time selling that to the average joe since most people run when they see mileage like that. You can definately use that to your advantage when buying/negotiating.

Well its not a 4Runner, but my T100 had 183k and the PO had all service records from 100k and up and before that it belonged to his pal. Needles to say flawless..
Records speak a thousand words, wouldnt have even dared bother with it until he said he had them and showed me..i got the fraking window sticker. Turned 188k today..

It's good that you're looking don't buy the first one you see. I'd hold out for one with lower miles and a rear E-locker. it might take a little searching but you can save up a little more cash in the meantime. take your time it'll be worth the wait.

At age 64, I've been badly burned on used car purchases twice, and both times I was looking for a low-priced bargain. In both cases, I got what I'd paid for - a worn-out piece of trouble.
Face it, Toyota or not, 175K is a huge number of miles. If I were you, I'd wait and save. Surely something better will come along if you're patient.
