1997 limited or 1998 SR5 - buying help

So i deal is that i have been shopping around for about 2 months now looking for a 4runner to buy. I have missed a few good deals that have been snatched up.

I have the choice of buying a 1998 white SR5 with a 120k miles, v6, auto for $8700 or a 1997 white limited with 134k for $9000 the limied has a dent in rear bumper hardly noticable.

What you guys think i should get. I really wanted a limited mainly due to the flares, trim, leather, and it doent have the locking diff.

I say if you like the leather flares and trim that much for 300 difference go with the '98. It's also a year newer. Only real downfall is the slightly higher mileage but if you had it checked out and all's well then go for it.

If you know you want a Limited then don't even consider an SR5, and if this Limited passes you buy there will be plenty of others to come along. On Craigslist in Austin there are so many 4Runner on there daily, I can't for the life of me figure out why people are dumping off perfectly good, paid for 4Runners. As long as my 4Runner keeps chugging along (2000 LTD w/ 50k miles) I'll never make another car payment again.
