1997 4Runner Tranmission Clunk

1997 Toyota 4Runner Limited 4x4 automatic. I have been noticing for awhile that when I come to a stop and then let off the brake pedal and accelerate the transmission and the shifter jump. It feels like a loose mount. I looked at the bottom mount between the transfer case and the crossmember which looks ok.

Has anyone had a similar issue? Any thoughts on what and how I should check it?

When is the last time the driveline was lubed? Loose motor mount?

check your driveshaft u-joints. They usually clunk before going out all together.

Like others have said, most likely your u-joint. It needs a greasin'.
