This seafoam seem like a Jeanie in a bottle! I used it in my gas before but never sucked in any for the motor---But now I got 2 cans in my gas and getting ready to suck a can thru my PCV intake

Sea foam????

I have never heard of this stuff? Can someone be more specific and tell me what it is and where I can get it? Sounds like great stuff. Where all can you put the seafoam? I will get some sea foam and change my plugs, wires, fuel filter and unplug my battery during this whole process, oh and clean my maf sensor.. Is the battery unplug for just reseting everything? How and what do you clean your maf sensor with? I may go check the wirteups on mantinence.

Just search Seafoam on this site--tons of info I have been reading on it although its not new to me!

Seafoam (white can) can be found at most auto parts stores--Napa/autozone etc....

When you clean the MAF simply get some "electrical parts cleaner" made from CFC I think. Don't touch the sensor but just spray it down and let it dry for a few minutes. The MAF meters the air coming in and directly impacts what your computer puts out in terms of fuel. So if you break it, it won't work. If it has dirt on it, it won't read right. If it has a thumb print on it, it won't read right either! Don't be scared to do it, just be cautious.

That same thing happens to my 96 runner! I changed the fuel filter and it stopped for awhile but, it is happening again. I have to keep the gas pedal at about 2000 rpm and eventually it goes away! Also went to dealership and had fuel injectors cleaned. They also did trottle body.Where is this sensor located at?
