The engine is shot on the T4R 4x4 but I wouldn't mind having it as a project truck. How much do you think it would be worth with the engine being shot. Everything else is in good shape, the rest of it has 110k miles only and the tranny and transfer case is said to be in good working shape.

I'd offer $750-$1K. Is it a standard or auto? Are you in Austin? What's wrong with the old motor? If you decide to pass on it, drop me a PM and I might pick it up. You will probably be looking at ~$3K for a new motor depending on if you do it yourself or have someone else do it.

I would go up to $2K, around here you can get a used 3.0 at the Yota Yard for $900-$1500 depending on condition. Then add another $500 for engine rebuild costs if you do it yourself. If the engine was good, that truck would sell for about $6000 around here.
I bought mine for $5000 with 180,000 miles, which was probably worth $4000 at the time.
