1990 4Runner starting trouble
I have a 1990 4runner V6 4wheel drive with about 180,000 miles on it. Recently changed out the plugs, wires, rotor, and cap and it's run just fine (idles a little high when cold, but that's not the problem) After letting it sit for a day I went out and it wouldn't start (had been running fine when I turned it off) I changed out the Coil and the Ignition Module and still it wouldn't start. Had it towed to a mechanic and when it got there it started right up. The mechanic said he thinks it may be the Fuel pump going out and wants about $600.00 to replace it. I've found the part for about $110.00, but have never done this. Does this sound like it may be the problem and if so how hard is it to do?

You might try the fuel pump test jumper to see if that helps:
