Question 1986 22RE ECU Pinouts?

Does anyone know where I can get a chart of the pinouts on a 1986 22RE ECU (2WD), similar to this one.

I have a Haynes Repair Manual, but that's it. Do you know where I could purchase a factory manual? Thanks.

you can try e-bay. They normally go for around $75-100 I think.

18 year old* But anyway, it only has about 85k miles on it, and runs like new. Smooth, clean, doesn't burn a drip of oil. And was never driven hard. Bought new by my grandfather, he put about 30k miles on it. My father put another 40k. The longest trips it ever had were no more than 20 miles. Brand new, could it handle a shot of nitrous?

Wow, you're smart. Read my previous post.

If you don't have anything nice or constructive to say, then shut the hell up. Dumb ass.

Yeah, I would imagine that you should be ok with it. I just wouldn't make it a common thing.

That's what I figured. Probably should upgrade the pistons and rods before moving to anything more extreme, right?

I would imagine yes. Have you checked out LC engineering yet? They've got every thing you'd need and I'm sure they give you advice better than me and much better than grumpy.

i've been looking for those for a pretty long time and the only one i found was the same one you found. but i will venture a guess that the pinouts are the same for the parts that the RTE and RE have in common. toyota isn't going to spend extra development money to completely change the pinouts on similar engines. hell i even bet the ECU for the turbo and naturally aspirated engines are the same, they probably just give different mapping depending on the inputs they get (but this is just a guess). i'm assuming that you want it for your WOT light, and since all that will be is a simple circuit that'll realay to a light if you get it wrong, you can easily just move it to another pin. make sure you have a really high imput impedence for your switch, you don't want to be draining current from the ECU.

if you do happen to find the 22RE pinouts, make sure you post them. i'm working on a little project where i'm setting my laptop to read from the inputs to the ECU and outputs from the ECU so i can have the equivalent what the people with newer engines can do with OBD. i think it'll be really cool to have real time plots of engine load, injector timing, and all that stuff. i have all the code done on the laptop end, i just need to work on the electronics for tapping into the ECU.
