08 Tundra steelies on my 04 taco?

Hello everyone, I've been lurking here for a while but now I have a good enough reason to register. Four barely used '08 Tundra factory steel rims and the Bridgestone Dueler X/T 255/70-18's that come with them have made themselves available to me for a couple hundred bucks. My '04 taco came with the ty 205/70-15's and I was wondering what you guys might think about doing the switch. I know they won't fit w/o a small body lift(3"?) and lug adapters to 6x5.5. I'm not sure if they'll look right after this without any plastic wheel flares either. So I want to hear any ideas you guys may have, I'm trying to do this as cheap as possible. Do you even think it's worth my time to attempt this?

It would appear he already knows that.

OP, I wouldn't bother messing with it. Chances are you are going to have to do some sort of lift in order to make them fit. Whether it be a body lift or small suspension lift you are looking at a minimum of about $150-$200. Add in your adapters which will run close to $200 for a nice hub-centric set, and your looking at roughly $600 for a set of stock tundra wheels and tires. And I dont know if you are just talking about stock tundra wheels when you say steelies, or if you literally mean base model steel wheels... but eithe way its not worth it IMO.

Dang. That's what I feared. Thanks! Just not worth the trouble. Here's the link for the wheels/tires, maybe some one else near me can swoop these up.
