I bought my wife an 05 4Runner Limited V8 last month. It's been great so far, with the exception of an annoying noise coming out of the rear passenger side seat area. It's something between a rattle and avibration. If I pull the seat back forward it goes away and when the seatback is set back firmly it stays away momentarily, but always returns. She doesn't notice it, but it drives me nuts!! Any ideas? Otherwise, what a rig!!

 

Have you tried wrapping a bit of electrical tape around the latch pin that the seatback latches to. I don't have this problem in my truck but I had a similar rattle in a car once and it was the latch. Wrapping a small bit of tape around the latch pin ( or whatever it's called ) solved the problem. Worth a try.

 

Funny, you should say that, I actually said that to my wife while driving the other day, just didn't do it. I'll have to give it a try.
