nahh, that's ok. the '03 is my wife's and I'm pretty sure she won't want anything on there unless it can hold a winch. I sort of have her trained. haha. wuh, uh, oh hi honey, ouch, ow!!!

haha, it looks like it might be ok to run through tall grass or a wheat field with it. It would keep the wheat from slapping your bumper. Assuming you drive through wheat fields alot.

The WAAG is horrible.

96, I have spoke with a cop in TX who has a Manik one piece... She has pushed, ramed at low speed, and hit two dear with it in her Tahoe.
The key to the "brush guards" is that they are one piece (most are not.) There are actually rubber pads to prevent scratching on the bar. Problem is, Manik doesn't make a one piece for the '03.

How often are you planning on shoving people at low speeds?

The problem with the brushgaurd is that instead of the entire bumper absorbing some of the impact, the majority of the impact will be on two points, which are attached directly to your frame rails. Even at something like 25 mph your going to bend them. Even the guys with ARB bumpers, that use the winch without reinforcing them end up damaging them. And yes you've got insurance to cover the damage. But what if they refuse to total the vehicle, and they say they want to fix it. Now your going to be driving a vehicle that has damaged/bent back frame rails on the front. It will never ride the same. The cop has a police truck, when its damaged she gets a brand spankin new one the next day at tax payer expense. In my opinon while it looks good, your doing yourself a disservice by putting this on there.

just my two cents. good luck with it.

I got a TJM, a winch. Haven't reinforced it and haven't damaged it while using the winch. the only damage I got was the rubber bumperettes on the front got scuffed and torn when I smacked a silverado when I tailgated him and he hit the brakes to teach me a lesson.

I bought a Jaos Bull bar from Jason Burtman and have been VERY happy with his customer service. The quality of his product is somthing I can vouch for and the bull bar looks great! I bought it from him last week on a late monday night, by tuesday morning he had it shipped (and gave me a tracking number) and it arived on my door step wendsday morning. Simply put im very satisfied!

By the way I am new to this forum as far as posting goes, im a long time reader though. I look forward to contributing what I can to this awsome 4Runner community!

Personally, I like it....

...but then I would !

It was the only way to mount lights clean when I got mine in 2003.

I think I had one of the first in the US and the price was OK then

I'm glad you guys are happy.

All Jaos prices are going up 8% for every dealer. I still sell less than anyone else, but I'm going to have to raise the prices very SOON! The Jaos cp is on sale at $599 not much longer!

I'd laugh if you tried to push someone with a brush guard/"center protector". They aren't meant for any type of collision. That's what bullbars are for. Jaos stuff looks cool, but it's absurdly over priced.
