Satoshi Grill? It looks like it would be a pain in the rear to do this mod on my grill. Will an earlier model grill fit the 02? I also want to put some Hella 500's on the front of my 4Runner. I have a painted bumper and i am worried about cracking the paint. Anyone tried this on my type of bumper? Advice would be great... Thanks

 

never tried to drill through my stock bumper. i would lay tape down to keep it from burring, like you would do for fiberglass.

 

noticed you have the grill mod. Would a 99 grill fit the 02?

 

i had to use a 98 grill. i would like to think it would plug right in there but i couldnt tell you 100%
look in the tech section and in bobs write up, it might say there.

cant use the 99 cause the chrome goes all the way across like yours, just looks diff

 

i like the 99+ grill better than my 98

i am 99% sure that the 3rd gen grill is interchangable

what did you do, put chrome trim on the louver things?

checking on grills now... Unpainted are more expensive then the chrome ones... go figure

 

i would even be happy with a push bar or light bar for the front of my 4runner.... apparently 2002 was a bad year for those. Hard to find and the ones i find are $$$$
