Hello,

I have a 00 Tacoma 3.4 and it is throwing the following misfire codes, P0300, P0301, P0302. It runs great when cold and it even seems to run fine when hot, the problem is after a hot soak, it has a misfire that you can both hear and feel. It has all new Denso OE spark plugs, Denso plug wires, and Denso OE coils. When I changed the plugs I looked in each cylinder and none of the pistons looked washed like it was getting coolant in the cylinder from head/head gasket problems. Not sure where to look next, anyone have any ideas on things to check?

In order of most to least likely. Bank 1 o1 sensor, dirty MAF, coolant temp sensor, crank sensor.

 

Is there anyway to narrow it down? I can rule out the MAF for the most part as it was replaced with an OE unit a few months ago.

 

For the record it was the fuel injectors.

There seems to be a rash of injectors checking out this summer, myself included. This will be my new go to diagnosis.
