bout time I start actually tuning this carb. haha
Will probably be ordering the hi-lift rebuild kit too. But not sure yet.
Yeah that's Idle solenoid #2. Kinda broke my other one, wait till you guys see how I trail fixed it a while back. Had to do it that way because well, I was a dumbass and lost the original jet holder that came with the carb. So I had to improvise.
Hopefully this will be the only jet I need.

nope no snow here, about an hour or so north got some, not sure about 92 Toy's place, but nothing more than a dusting so far this winter here. None of it lasted on the ground for more than maybe an hour or so.

haha it just came, I guess they didn't scan it like usual. Anyway, looks like I got the correct fitting jet although a tight fit into the shut-off solenoid.
Now I just got to finish up wiring up my surround sound to get to my truck. haha.

heh it's already done. still got to tweak it though. Seemed to help, not sure where the idle mix screw is set at right now though to tell if I still need a bigger jet.

well, I got a new project. So time for more updates.
Craigslist find:
The entire frame on the bed is bolted together, some ineffective tack welds (understandable for aluminum). Bed bottom is 2X6's. tailgate is removable. the 4" lights in the back are all LED lights. the two corners on the front have yellow marker lights and the two back corners have red marker lights.
Wiring on it looks like a nightmare, so I will definitely be rewiring it. Backup lights are still on it as well.
The paint on it is non existent. Could just be an illusion in the photos. but it's not rusted because it's aluminum. So I will be eventually be painting the thing.
The guy was gonna part out a truck and this bed did not go with the truck to the guy who bought the entire truck. Picked the bed up for $250.
On the way home. You know us PA guys and ratchet straps. lol.
Gonna have fun re-wiring the 4" LED lights and corner lights.
General layout of the Mostly aluminum frame. The main mounts looks like 3/8" angle iron.
Mud flaps I will most likely replace
Bottom boards are all bolted down, not screwed.
All of the main hardware holding the side boards etc etc together are all stainless steel bolts.
Closer photo of my new backup lights. Maybe I will be able to see what's behind me now. Assuming they work.
closer photos of the corner marker lights. Haven't looked to see if they are regular or LED lights like the stop/tail/turns are.
Gonna have to figure another way for the fuel filler. The hose didn't come with the bed and the one I did up for the one I have now is shortened.
Overall for $250, I think I got a good deal considering this thing is mostly aluminum with mostly stainless steel hardware and LED lights.
