Any update, B? I say keep hunting on the gear angle.... You'll find em, man. Just so I'm not making an arse of myself any further, unnecessarily, ..... "YOU ARE looking for 4.88's for the rear, right?????" lol. I figured you have the front gears.. just need a rear one.
How bout the frame, what's the plan?

just read your whole thread, i love your truck, i also picked up a 4.88 front diff for my truck for a song lol, i was told to talk to you about adjustable cam gears. i had my 22r head shaved .14 and was wonderin if i would have any problems with just a regular cam gear?

.14 is alot even with mine being .10 I think I need that cam gear. You can run without it, but it might sacrifice some bottom end grunt for mid-upper power. Mine noticeably wakes up above 2800-3000 anything below that lets just say I am glad I have a manual trans and 4 lo.

Impressive, I'm pretty sure that is a cast piece you bent. And no, sorry haven't bent one. I'll give you mine when I do my sas, but that may be a few months.

I wouldn't say bent maybe tweaked would be the proper term. But remember a while back I had said I went wheeling and hit a hole pretty good and blew a bead and my steering wheel ended up a 1/4 turn off?
Well it appears that that side's tie rod is sitting closer to the frame then the other side
I think the pitman is slightly tweaked too. Not too worried about that as it's a lifetime from AZ
Then I can't tell but I believe the very end of the relay rod isn't "squared up" either.
The odd part of that part number is the fact it only covers 86-89. 90+ is a different part number. I wonder if this is like the Idler arm thing where they made a beefier one later on or this one was only made for the manual steering trucks. I got some poking around to do. lol.
Also while I am thinking about it, I believe even though the front end parts were similar if not the same is that the later models had a different turning radius as well. But the stoppers are on the pitman and idler themselves not the knuckle arm.

lol, nah. It's a note to self: Don't have 3 beers with your buddies before going out on trials. Especially when you hardly drink to begin with and 1 heep tries and the next looks and both then go around. LMAO.

lol not a bad price for a rolling chassis. Too bad I don't have e money, I'd buy that and slap my 22r in it. It would be one of the only 2nd gen 4runners with a carb'd engine.

I can't stand the 90+ 4Runner seats...... Just an FYI, in case you're a 'bigger than average' guy, like myself. IF NOT, ....then they'd be great, most likely. It's the bolsters, for the most part, ....they travel all the way up to the shoulders and cut into the Scapula(blade)..... They're tighter around the waist on the bolsters, too.
Sorry B, ... I know it was just a random comment, and I AGREE WITH OUTSANE... they're CLEAN! lol. But wanted to warn anyone to try them before thinking they're the same as the 85-89 SR5 Seats.
OK, .... I'll shut up now, lol.

I love the buckets in the 84 xtra cab I had, but they tilted back at an weird angle, so I put 1 1/2" risers in the back of the 2 rails and made a HUGE improvement and were perfect, I/m 6'2" and 255 lbs and they were perfect, I would love to get a set and center console for my 93 :} I Wonder if Toyota still offered them new? :} It would be cool and I bet expensive!!!!

I'd be happy to get rid of this bench seat and swap for a split bench. Oh yeah and thanks guys for getting my mind back on my crappy bench seat and looking for a split one.
