Don't know yet, probably not the procomps. That's what I got in there now (ES3000's) Stock ones seemed to be too short. But I liked the ride. Definitely budget wont allow for the billies. Although I like the HD billies I have in the BMW. Might try to go with the DT's that Rob's got on his.

I won't know about the pitman till I get the old one out.

Ive NEVER heard of a lifetime alignment...Explain please? Haha.

And yes, unfortunatly i had about 2500 saved up for college and emergencies and my truck just swallowed every bit of it, so im starting over.
Trucks def drivable, just a little wobble at certain speeds. Soon i will be replacing all of the tie rods and everything i have sitting in my room and ill get that alignment.

I think ours here is like $130 or something. But knowing the idiots around here they will find a reason not to honor it. Mainly because it's an "off-road" truck. Or it has 33" tires on it.

I just called them, I spoke with the manager and told him about my lift and tires, and he told me they would cover the alignment even with all the mods

The only problem is they are about 45 miles from my house, and i dont want to instal my parts and then drive 45 miles while out of alignment. Ya know?

But ill check into the local shop doing it just this time because for that lifetime alignment im looking at $179.99 he said...

Bo it's not gonna be that far out of alignment as long as you count the threads that are showing on the old stuff before installing the new stuff. 45 miles isn't bad. about 45 min to an hour away? Did you get new adjustment sleeves for the tie rods? I would. It's one of the reasons why I haven't done all mine yet. lol.

Im thinking your right though, if i count and write EVERYTHING down, it shouldn't be bad at all...

But then again, i still dont have $179.00 bucks for an alignment haha.

My local shop i take the truck to for all my work will charge me 45 bucks so i may just roll with that for right now...

Highly stupid noob question

Which direction to crank up the t-bars? And of course the FSM just says adjust to match the ride height chart.

I am thinking tighten to go up, loosen to go down.

I might get around to doing it tomorrow. Supposed to be 53* out. If not, I will have two washers (not the bolt kind) in the back ready to go to the dump which should level it out.

ok got the drivers side up, but only by like an inch. With the original bump stops in there, I got less than a 1/4" between the UCA and the drop bump stop. Now onto the passenger side. So I will run like this till I get the BJ/Diff drop. I don't like the idea of 3 wheeling with almost no droop in the front end. I would rather not use low profile bump stops, before anyway says it. lol.

This is how far the drivers side was adjusted. too much. But this only gave me about an inch and put me on the UCA (droop) bumpstop.




Welp, working on the other side, got the extra inch, but some stupid reason it put both sides on the bump stops. When trying to lower the passenger side down, guess what......

broke the passenger side adjuster bolt.

Ever wonder who well you will clear 33" tires with torsions completely 100% relaxed. This is what it looks like. I might use this to my advantage though. As this is exactly where those tires will sit when fully stuffed.





True carnage. Hopefully I can get that bottom bolt seat to come off the bolt.





Note to self, make sure if your gonna break those bolts put something there to prevent the bolt from being made part of the truck.

tire clearances at full stuff. As a reminder, 33 X 12.50 Mastercraft Courser M/T 15 X 8 wheel w/ 4.25" backspacing.

Full lock.




Clearance to the Idler arm




Clearance to the sway bar




Almost full lock to the bumper cap. Full lock clearance is more at full lock. This is as close as it gets to the bumper. As you can see, this is why I had cut that bracket for the lower valance. If the lower valance is in place it WILL hit.





Again full lock. Inner fender front of tire. Close, but will not rub. No earlier modifications to this was done for at rest clearance.




Inner fender will need some more pounding.

I think with the BJ spacers you'll be better with the droop, no?
