Your gonna bring the pick up right? I'll probably just have you pick up the tires then. Tha's gonna take up the bulk of the bed.

here's what i imagine....disagree or change if you want.
3 separate but related projects going on here:
1) exchange tires and rims....33's going on your wheels that have the 31's on them
2) remove your leaf springs / install new ones
3) work on cranking your t-bars (that part really concerns me considering the rust buckets we drive around in)
as far as the tires go........2 thoughts.
1)you can use a set of my tires (either my stocks or my pretty 31's on the pretty rims) while the 33's are getting mounted.
2) mount the tires yourself on the rims....i did not read up on that but imagine it's a huge PITA to do....also gonna be very time consuming.
3)get your tires switched at a garage.....get them balance and mounted the right way so none of use lose any fingers in the process. I can call my guy that did mine and see if he can do it today....that way, since it's unlikely and impossible to fit your 31's and 33's in the back of my truck, i can make 2 trips to you and have them here waiting for you on saturday....my dime. or you can do it on your own before saturday.
summary:
i will drop off a set of mounted tires at your place....and my impact gun.....pick what set you want me to bring.
decide if you are going to allow me to pick up the tab on getting your tires changed out and go from there.
if you say YES, then i will bring your tires to my guy (as long as he's available)
if you say NO, then you can mess around all day today and tomorrow switching the tires but you will still be able to drive around using my tires and rims.
that's my plan, that's my offer. i told you that i am indebted to you for the help you have given me and will give me. but also if we could shave off a few hours of messing around trying to switch tires and just concentrate on doing your leaf springs, then that's a good thing.
i open the floor to debate and discussion.

will take maybe 30 minutes to mount the tires, once I get the old one off the wheels. New springs will go on before I touch the tires.
The prybar set made this so much easier to do. Only real issue with the tires is popping the bead which is what the hi-lift is for. Remember I have the compressor now, no need to blow the bead on either.
I can mount the tires up here but I still run into issues modding the truck to run them without rubbing, which I cannot do up here without that bitch next door saying something.
I will not be surprised that she says something about me pounding on those springs and such. While both inside and outside the house.
I would rather do this in one day if I can. I don't see it taking more than a few hours to put those springs in.
$50 is something I don't have to mount tires right now and knowing now how easy it is to put them on the rims by hand with the right tools well..... $25 to balance isn't and issue nor a safety concern really if they do happen to be a little of and vibrate. there is so much stuff on the truck that vibrates I probably wont even notice an imbalance in the tires nor a driveline vibration if the pinion angle is somewhat off.

this is cool too, no need for the Hi-lift to pop the bead off.

and just another one of the guy on here mounting them. FYI I didn't use the hi-lift to put them on and I still think it was easy.

my offer stands. I still have to run up your way to get a headlight for the wife's truck since this morning it no longer lights.
20 degrees at my house right now.

yeah it's a little chilly, your bringing the pickup right? Those tires should fit or at least enough to make a dent in my truck. I need my tools here, gonna dismount my old 235/75R15's to see if I can't unload them for a few bucks. And to practice before saturday. lol.
Bring some of the PA guys favorite "tools" with you though. Ratchet straps.

hehe actually .12g and did you use bb's or those you linked to? maybe they are .20g? Either way I think the lighter ones would make a little less noise? Not that noise is an issue for me though. lol.

There are some threads on here about them as well...Like I said I'm not sure what I got now. I know I bought a case (12 bottles) 1 bottle per tire is how I figured it out so no counting...
I'll look tonight when I get home.
If I remember.

my cap is on my truck....so i'm not afraid of losing anything, but it does limit how much i can stuff in there.
but i'm still telling you.....i can bring another set of mounted tires to you and you can put those on your truck and mess around dismounting and mounting those 33's over the next 2 days without being stranded without a drivable vehicle.

if I even get the bb's. I got enough money to put gas in the truck to get to and from jerry's. lol.
popping the first bead on these 235's was easy, getting the back on off is a little difficult with just prybars. Gonna take this thing outside and say screw you lady and break out the hi-lift. lol.
No tires Jerry, your doing enough already.
I'll be here Jerry, not going anywhere, but might be outside and not hear the phone.
