Woohoo.. the end is in sight. I got my rear bumper mounts modded today and got it bolted on. I also got my square shaft finished up. I took the bumpers off hopefully for the last time and put the last coat of paint on. They go back on tomorrow. I got to put her in 4 wheel drive for the first time this afternoon. I stacked up some tires and played in the yard. Having the duals is killer. I crawled up a stack for 3 33X12.50's without touching the gas or the clutch. I didn't even come close to lifting the rear tire either. Hopefully I'll have some finished poser shots up tomorrow.

Here's a teaser shot of some yard wheeling..I'll have better ones tomorrow night after I get the front bumper back on and my winch and lights mounted to it. Those are 33X12.50's I'm parked on. I walked right up them in low low without touching the gas or the clutch.. gotta love the duals!

John I just bought a crimp flat connector for the negative. I had to re-do the smaller wire that grounds to the inside of the fender because it was too short. For the positive they already had flat connectors I just drilled them out to fit the side terminal bolt. For my winch I got some of those marine connectors. My battery came with a fancy piece of plastic to snap on the bottom. My stock holddown fit perfectly. I was actually quite impressed how easy it all went together.

I just got off work and I'm headed out now to put the bumpers on and wire my winch and lights back up. Stay tuned for more yard wheeling pics!!

Well here she is trail ready finally. It took 3 months and alot of cash to make it look like this. What a great feeling it is to have it ready to go finally. I can't wait till Saturday when I get to wheel it for the first time. There are still alot of little things I'd like to do but like Wabbit said "It's never done you either sell it or you die" Here are some yard poser shots. Wabbit I put your sticker on the side along with Marlins.

This one gives you an idea of the size.

That is one badass 4runner! I would try and make it on your Hollister Hills trip, but I'm getting my custom rock sliders put on on the 21st and I have some other prior arrangements. This summer when I am out of school, let me know when you are gunna be going to Hollister or wherever and I'll try and go.
