The beast is HOME!! After two long long nights of finish work it was in good enough shape to brave the 35 mile journey down the freeway to get it home. It drives and rides pretty good considering the transformation it just went though. There is many hours of adjusting, modifying, and tweaking ahead.. I found out yesterday I gotta make a run overseas to do my thing this weekend so it's on hold for little while till I return which shouldn't be too long.. more suspense....

Hey guys I'm on the road still and finally had time to utilize the hotel wireless. I should be home in a few days and I'll start posting some pics. It's killing me knowing it's sitting in the garage and I can't tinker on it!!

Okay here are the pics as promised. Right now it's pretty basic still. It was pouring rain here most of the day or I would have slapped the 37's on. The puny 33's gives you an idea of the size I guess. Tomorrow I'm putting the 37's on, my fender flares, and roofrack back on. I got to play with the dual cases today and WOW 223.1 is awesome!! Standby for better pics as it progresses this week.
It dwarfs the Taco now
Shock Hoop and Bilstein 5150s. See Tofer I told you he was going to plate the motor mounts
A rear shot
Where the magic happens. I still have to do some modding of the boots and stuff to get it all working right and cleaned up. We had to weld in some bends to get the shifters to come out right. The rear shifter comes up where the change holder is on a 2nd Gen.
Still lots of little things to do but it's coming along nicely. Here is a video of what 223.1 looks like. No there is nobody driving the truck. It almost stops going up the curb... I am sooo impressed with the dual case. I can't wait to try it out on the trail.

Ya I cant wait to drive it with the 37's. It is a little on the scary side right now especially after jumping out of the Taco.

I got some more work done today. I stuck the 37's on it the first thing this morning. I spent the rest of the day working on putting stuff back together. I got the front bumper on after some sawzall work but ran into a snag when I tried to get the winch into the bumper. I'm going to have to take the dremel to my grill and do some trimming. I've been looking at that bumper on my garage floor for 2 months I'm glad to finally see it on the truck. It's crooked right now because I just threw two of the 6 bolts in so I could start on getting winch in. Here are the pics

Looks way better. When is the shakedown run?? You will find off-camber situations to be a little on the scary side at first.
I would take off that bugshield......doesnt go with the Marlin crawler

Thanks for the comments guys. I am hoping to get my winch on today and get my shifter boots taken care of. I'm also going to a local shop to see what can be done with my Marlin mounts for my rear bumper to get it mounted. I'll keep taking pics as it progresses.
