We just hacked the pipe off so it would be outta the way for the fab work. I'll have a turn down coming out behind the rear tire someplace when it's done.

I didn't really have a hard budget because I took out a loan for a pretty big chunk of it and NO I haven't stayed within it..not even close. This stuff starts adding up really really fast and there are always unforseen costs involved. I spent 6k in a week!! My goal for this build was to not have to spend money upgrading parts later on AFTER I broke them. I wanted it done right the first time. Of course there will be many versions and alot of tweaking to the initial set up to make it work to my liking.

I know this is worthless without pics they are coming here soon but wanted to give an update. The front and rear is done. We are just waiting on my driveshafts to come back and I gotta bolt the third back in after I get it on Monday. Last project in the fab shop is to get the linkages on the dual ultimate taken care of. After that I'll have it home to put everything back together. I ordered a XD9000i today and I'm getting my 37's mounted tommorow on a set of custom wheels I ordered with 2.5 inch backspacing to try and squeeze some more width out of it.

that is just going to be completly mental . your are going to need a set of steps or a block and tackle to get in to that thing.
can you imagine trying to drive that thing over here, it just wouldnt fit!!.
it looks so good and i am so green with envy.

Here are some shots of the rear. Still need to weld in the crossmember for the shocks to mount to but have to do some flexing first to see where exactly to mount them. It was on it's own weight till I pulled the third to get it set up with my 5.29's and Detroit. Onto the pics

Got the rear shocks mounted yesterday. Front hoops should be done today. All that's left is getting the T-case in and bolting up the third when I get it back from the gear installer.

exhaust will be dumping somewhere other than into the driver's side shock reservoir, yes? I hope to get my project up and running soon as well. Lots of wheeling trips this month... (chompin at the bit!!!!)
