haha yea the tiny tires look really funny on this thing. i still have the exact same rim and tire from that picture too. i threw them on a while back when i was painting my rims at one time. i would love to run the stock rims if they were wider.

I run the auto... Hmmm what is that? Can I make my truck stay in 2nd or 3rd and not let it shift using that? That would have been soooo nice in pismo.

Ha mine has undergone lots of changes in the short 1.5 years that I've owned her. But mine still doesn't loom as clean as yours. You rig looks like a right off the dealer truck with bad ass upgrades.

its really small and its mainly for trail use. its a manual shifter for an auto trans but this one lets you keep it in any gear. wont downshift or up shift without your input.

exactly that. it will hold any gear you select. it will start in any gear you select as well but not sure how well it will take off the line in 3rd lol. this unit will by pass the trans ecu but i plan on installing a switch to switch between full auto and full manuel

Well the problem was the truck wanted to shift back down into second, scared the crap out of me once when it did it and I redlined up a dune.

I agree all IFS set ups should have came with long travel. They are so limited in stock form. After seeing pix of your rig on the trails and most of all Red_Wagon's 4runner in action i was convinced that Long Travel is definitely a great set up to have. After seeing it in person i would definitely recommend it to anybody who cannot afford an SAS or doesn't have the skills to do an SAS. It is definitely worth it.

How's you swing out doing? Any rattles? Looks sweet! I'm also diggin that light bar!

Also, how do you not get tagged for you tires sticking out so far in California? Where i'm at, we get pulled over for having mud on our trucks, so you can only imagine how it is without mudflaps, fender flares etc.

loving the swing out. the thing is built extremely well. you do get what you paid for and helps to do your homework. i trust the guy that built it and he is my go to fab guy. i dont have a problem paying extra for something i want to last.

the city i live in. its filled with mall crawling, big lift, tires wider than mine, powder coated suspension parts Chevys. its funny cuz not a single factory chevy truck comes stock with mud flaps but every stock toyota truck does.

i guess i been lucky and i also dont DD my runner. another thing i guess that might helps is, im actually pretty low so i dont stand out compared to all the SAS yotas that so many DD. i love driving my runner but those guys with the SA and huge tires are just killing tires and wear out parts. not worth it lol
