i love the IFS. the SA guys dont really have much fun. they just point and drive. i love the challenge, makes you use more than just the skinny pedal. hoping to go LT later this year if not next year.

the trail damage. easy fix

since i have installed the arb bumper the front fenders touched the bumper. the only thing i could think of was the body mount was weak or worn out. order theses and installed them, you can see the difference. the old rubbers just had weather cracks but wasnt torn at all. the new ones made it so i can hear road noise a little more but overall the body feels more solid with the frame imo. hopefully they break in alittle lol

thanks. im sure the body flexed even more when im off roading it so the clearance should help future damages to my fender and bumper

trail was awesome. same one i been doing since i started but when it snows, its becomes a different run everytime. 1st time doing the body bushings and wasnt too bad at all. the lift at work helped alot lol. it gets harder and harder to lift a lifted truck at home now

crappy picture but will do for now. finally got my elocker installed with 4.88 yukon gears. drove it home from work. much better to drive now. shifts earlier and speedo reads 5mph faster than actual speed. that means i gained a little acceleration now.
3.0 v6 - auto - 32x11.5x15 - 4.88 elocker
just need to swap in the factory 4.88 ifs front diff i got used.

Dayummmmmmmm, ............. I hate you~! hahaha.... JK, you know I don't.... Anyway, NICE WORK! Cell phone pics or no, that's inspiring, man! That sounds just about right being auto/V6..... and WOW, the ability to 'select' the lock! lol.... That's something I will eventually do, no doubt! I don't HATE the Spartan, it's great w/traction, etc., ...... But MAN, that herky'jerky in a hard turn in a parking lot/elsewhere? GRR! hahaha.

Happy Wheelin, man!

thanks. the ability to select will be nice. i love my open diff so far lol
elocker is toyota factory option and just about any trd taco came stock with them. 3.4 4runners had elocker option as well, not sure if it was on the sr5 or limited models. i got that elocker from a 99 4runner.

That's a nice 4runner man. I'm pretty jealous of your e-locker. I was going to attempt to do one on mine, but never got around to it haha.

thanks it took me twice to get it done. well the 1st time wasnt my fault. i ended up mod a axle housing that had two wide of a spring perch but kinda glad it did since i didnt do such a good job on the welds or the treading of the holes. the second was much easier and faster. less weld this time and threading the holes was much better and aligned for the locker. if you try it. i would get a few housings if you can for cheap. i got both mine for 50 each.

got about 120 miles on the 4.88 gears. so far i love it. speed0 is about 8mph faster than actual speed. around town, it drives great. keep up with traffic with very little throttle now. dont have to bury it haha. havent tired to go up any hills yet. still need to drop out the front diff to swap the tube on to the 4.88 add diff i got used
