a night crappy shot lol. finally got out early this morning and wired up the winch and redid the wiring on the battery. i have a die hard battery and opted for the dual post so i can use the side post just for the winch only. worked out really nice. i still need to re wind the winch. anyone want to get pulled lol

oh i removed some of the panels to pop out a dent. since i was there i decided to hide the wires i used to power the air compressor in the rear. still a working process. i also finally got to see how the rear speaker is mounted. wanted to know how much work it would be to run some bigger speakers. looks like something i never seen before. original 1988 premium speaker too. has 5 wires going to it. not blown speaker as well!!

Where did you get the cool battery post clamps that uses that black latch handle and the thread attachment post? Tired of having to find wrenches and to be able in a hurry to pull ground and possitive would be great, Let me know, Thanks :}

seems like alot of people like them. the metal is kinda thin imo and i dont see them durable for long time use if you keep taking them off and on. i dont plan on removing them alot but like you i hated the bolts that get stripped and the other end that uses the terminal to hold it in place stop holding it cuz the metal is so soft lol anyways i got them at an auto store for 5.99 for the two. comes with 4 wire ends you can use to clamp on to your wires if needed..

this is where i got mine

Hmm 5 wires. I know in my old 93 4runner the rear speakers had a built in amp for them so maybe a + and - for the audio then a +,-, and antenna wire for the amplifier?

yea the speakers have built in amp which is pretty cool. well i figured it out. i used some extra junk speakers i had as a tester and found which two wires i needed lol not before a few sparks and the hu turning off but came back on after i unplug the speaker lol

for future reference.
driver side is : white and black
passenger side : red and white

got them installed and man they should much cleaner even tho im still using the stock hu. wasnt expecting much bass but a cleaner sound which alpine is know for and been proving in my last two rides with complete alpine set up.

passenger side

driver side

Having 5 wires is new to me. Bet they sound great. Going thru your build, looks great so far.
