terry I love it when people fix things like that most times it is just a matter of spending some time and effort and doesnt cost much, and to me its just nice for things to work as they should. I spend a lot of time on my vehicles fixing little things like that. my 93 deisel exspecialy, good job

Hello Philbert, I would like to eventually get it like you have listed in yours. Would like to get just the title and not the whole address. I should have some time today to mess with it again.
Jason, That turned out better than I thought, I just didnt want to spend the money for a new one. That is one reason I save my old parts. You just never know when you might need it again. Alot of times it is just a matter of getting in and figuring it out. Sure glad I did.
Small things like that is what can make the difference from making a truck that is fun to drive or not. Sometimes it seems like this project is not moving as fast as I would like. But when I step back and look at it, its all getting to the end goal and would eventually need done anyway. That was a freebie fix too.
Twisted.. What I found when looking on YT, that it is located above the ECU. One I seen showed a bigger box that was lime green. But guess they could of changed it to a different style. Got me curious as to what that relay goes to. I might try tonite to see what it is. I would like to have a more indepth fix for this, for others to use.
I was really glad I didnt have to start disconnecting things. I wasnt sure how far up there it was. I lucked out on my fix.

great build to read,
looking forward to the paint job,
Also have to check if someone did that buzzer thing to my 4runner, my dome light does not turn off when I open the door.

Hello Outsane.. Thanks for the compliments. I am trying to make this a build thread and fix it thread, maybe something that I have already experienced, someone else can fin the info quick. I think I have and will experience everything out there.
I would check and make sure that the door switch that it is seperating. When it opens it makes contact to complete the circuit. Welcome to my thread.

Hello Jason.. Just talked to you and found that bushing we were talking about. I will be replacing mine later on and want a copy for myself. There are actually 2. One goes in the tranny shifter housing and the small on goes on the shifter.
I have replaced this in the past. It is easy and cheap. There is a small trick to it. The video will show how it is done. Well worth the cost and benefits.
Watch the video of the Supra install. That is the typical before and after.

Trying to get caught up on some of the things I have gotten done lately. I did the Duplicolor bed liner in the back. I want the truck to be quiet inside so I just did the trunk area. As soon as we get out of this rainey season. I want to pull the seats out and give them a good cleaning and get under them with bed liner. After that I plan on putting sound deadner insulation in on top of the bed liner.
A friend and me went in on a rusted out 87 4runner. It was used on a chicken ranch. He needed the motor and I needed the transfer case. I get the transmission too. This thing as literally rusted into two pieces. I hate scrapping trucks, but this one couldnt be driven on the farm. We are stripping all of the good pieces of off it.
We have busted more bolts and then what have come off normal. I got the bumper and end caps, but even that has become a chore. Hoping I can get pics of the bumper on tomorrow as I have to get the rusted bolts off, and most of them have broken or I used a cutting saw on.

Here are some of the parts I have been working on. May not look like much, but the rust has slowed me down. I will eventually replace the end caps, but for now I will make them work. I am wanting to get this truck painted soon. But needed to get the parts truck as we got a good deal on it.
The washer bottle pump is not good.
The bolts broke when taking it off of the parts truck so had to cut these brackets off to work with mine. Still not ready. Maybe tomorrow will be a better day
Did get some more cleaning done under the hood. I have gotten quite a bit done but still have a ways to go. The first pic was partially done.
The second picture is alot more done.

Got another cheap fix. The washer bottle in the pic above wasnt working. The PO took the pump out of the original washer bottle.
I put this one in and with the key on, but the motor not running, I would hit the water button. Nothing happened. I could tell power was going to the washer motor as the dash lights would dim and the amp guage would move. So I knew it was getting power.
I was going to buy a new bottle and pump from the bone yard and figured I had nothing to lose. I had tried tapping on the motor with a wrench and it did not do anything.
I then ran a wire from each terminal of the battery to the connectors on the washer bottle. They will have two male connectors.
I switched polarity a couple of times and on the 3rd try, the pump motor started whirring. Plugged it in and filled with water. Everything works great.

We are going to strip every good part off of it. That is where the water bottle came from. I dont want to see anything going to waste. Sure as I let something go, I would need it.
I meant to get a picture of it. If I was going to give it a name like Twistedyota did his with "Scav". I would name this "Tetnaus Shot".
I scrapped a rusted frame one time and the only thing on it was a good drag link. Sure enough 2 weeks later I needed it.
