Smoke after valve gasket, plenum gasket replacement? Was not doing it before.

Heres the deal. Its a '94 Toyota pickup. 3vze 6cyl. There was a bad tick which I thought was a sticky valve. I went ahead and seafoamed it, and much to my surprise, it didnt get out but one or two puffs of smoke.

The tick was still there, so I opened it up to look at the valves which seemed alright, and I replaced the valve cover gaskets, the intake manifold gasket and the spark plugs while i was in there.

Unfortunately, I broke the BVSV putting it back together so there are two vacuum lines open, and when i crank the engine, it revs to about 2000 and stalls out. I can only assume that this leak is causing the stalling.

BUT......

during the brief time i had it going, i gassed it a little to keep it from stalling, and i noticed a good bit of white smoke coming out of the exhaust pipe.

So my question is this.... Is it possible that I dicked up the head gasket while replacing the other gaskets? Or is this just the sea foam come to life suddenly, after half a tank of gas has been run through it.
