Here is what is happening now:
1. I got my fuel cell(parts)
I welded up the sides tonight...I've got to go to the sheetmetal place and have them cut a few pieces for me
Before welding

After

2.I also got my coil-over tube tabs....these are so I'm able to bolt my shocks in place...I still need to order my lower brackets from Ballistic Fab so I can mount them up and get them semi-out of harms way.

Here is a truck that I am starting on for a customer. I had to snap this pic to show how low my truck is....his is on 31's mine is on 42's

You going to be running OBA or electronics or other handy off-road gadgets?

yes! a question!
Fancy Gadgets....OBA, I'm using a Co2 tank(similar to a Powertank), I've got a few secondary heater cores from the 2nd gen 4runner rear heat controls(I want to add quick disconnect couplings so I can use one of them as a tent heater to warm up a tent on cold nights...there are a few things that would have to be added to make this work, like another water pump to circulate through the engine...this will also cool the truck quicker if there was ever an overheating problem) A bunch of Hella lights and a big 'ol honking alternator to keep 'em going, how about 8-way power adjustable heated leather seats...is that fancy?, dual winches...
Electronics...I'm also using a GPS system(laptop setup), MP3 CD player that I can hook my Zune to. oh yeah..in car video camera to record my antics once the rig is back on the trail.

Might be a little bit of a cheat, not to mention you probably won't need it, but have you thought of something like this?

Nice work man, This is what I want to do to my truck a body off frame restoration, I want to keep everything stock cept, SAS and just enough lift to fit 33s and a 1uz under the hood...no bobed beds or anything, I want a street legal trail/exploration rig.

This is really nice. Where did you find the hood scoop? It looks great on your hood. Looks almost like a mustang hood scoop.

I have looked at allpro offroad and have considered it. But I have nobody to help me that's done one before. I have a good buddy and we mess around with stuff all the time, but we have never done anything like this, we usually work on engines among other things.

Those 42"s look mean! I still don't know what axles i want to use at this point. I'm still in planning. Probably the Dana 44 like you said with 5.29s.
