It says "mean as hell" It is the hood from the first cab on my dual tranny'd rig...It was destroyed beyond use so I recabbed it with a '91 4runner body and destroyed it...now it sits in the field getting parts stripped off of it

-------------------------------------------------------------------
My tube adapters are in the mail from Polyperformance 6=$84 BUT I'M NOT PAYING FOR THEM!

NEWS FLASH: I am not able to afford coil-over shocks right now. I am gonna put airshoxs in the rear as planned but I am going to be putting coils up front. I found some kick ass coil mounting brackets from http://www.ballisticfabrication.com/brackets.htm and I'm gonna order them in a few weeks(unless I come into contact with some big $$$) $1200 for some blinging ass shocks is not worth not being able to wheel. I am going to get my engine and build my t-cases next and that is gonna be a chunk of change
List Prices
(1) Clocked Dual Case Adapter from Marlin Crawler $499
(1) 23 Spline 4.7:1 Gear Set $399
(1) 23 Spline Input Gear $125
(1) 4340 Chromoly Output Shaft from Bobby Long $240
(1) Clocked Twin Stick $200
(1) T-Case Rebuild Kit $184
(1) Rear Driveline Disconnect (FROR) $500(possibly)

ENGINE= 3.4L Tacoma V-6
(1) 3.4L 30K miles All accessories $900~
(1) R150 Bellhousing to mate 3.4 to R151F $?

I have the prototype set of brackets like that, they were designed for control arm setup that are going on my new axle... This is the design I got him to follow.

DAMN I LIKE THAT!

Here are my sliders to this point, they also protect the x-cab and tie into the bed cage and they will continue forward to protect the front fenders and tie into the front bumper

Side and slant view

here are the pics as of right now. I still need to do some gusseting and plating, but soon they will be done.

I forgot to take pics of the tube adapters, I'll get some shots of them tomorrow.

Also, I picked up 2 more sticks of tubing today AND I hope to go pick up a 3.4L this week sometime.

C'MON GUYS! Post what you think! I like reading thoughts and comments on what I'm doing!

This is longest and most indepth build-up that i have watched and you are doing a great job. All the work you have done seems to be quality work and should perform extremely well. How's that for a review

Well, Just so people know, I'm still working on it. I took the links to a reputable machine shop just a few min ago. I have found an engine and I hope to go get it VERY SOON. After I get it, the Marlin Crawler stuff comes next. Here is what I had to buy.

I now have a website and I have a few guys building it for me b/c it doesn't require welding, cutting, or me pulling wire(I'm an electrician). I'll let you guys know as soon as it is up and going. I've been slammed in the shop recently and it doesn't look like it is letting up BUT every chance I get I'm working on my rig too.

I'm about to open my website, I've got a ton of work in the shop, I'm working 40+ hours a week

BUT I AM THE NEWEST MARLIN CRAWLER DEALER! If you want something PM ME! I'll get you a good price on it!

SAS'D your doing a great job!

Don't get in a hurry getting it finished, haste= waste.

If you weld something on, then you have to spend time cutting and grinding it off.

Patience and alot of forethought payoff bigtime!

Great build!

My links should be back tomorrow!

Uh-oh Bent tubing in the floor again

I still have to finish gusseting it in but you get the idea. I am gonna try to tie in the cage to the sliders tomorrow unless I get some HREW in so I can start on D's flatbed
