Im to the point where I can put the axle in...at put the truck on its own weight. Just need a torch and welder as I moved and dont have the luxuries of my dads shop anymore

All I need for it be 100% done
1. Rebuild kit
2. Gears
3. Drive Shaft
4. Brake Lines
5. Possibly Longer Shocks

Soo...I rinsed the truck down from new years and noticed my passenger flow was quite wet...so I went down to Home Depot and bought some window sealer. I ripped all that chrome trim off and just filled it in...havent tested it yet.

Also doing my training on poser flex for when my SAS is done!! lol

IFS should be coming out this weekend..I HOPE!

So i've come to realize that I HATE the look of tube shock hoops...just so you all know...just a random truth.

Anyways...nothing new in the last few days. Just waiting to get my hands on a torch to get this IFS out :/ Come pay day ill be buying my extended brake lines...one step closer to road worthy after the swap.

Well, there's either the Ford shock towers, or I recently discovered an option from LowRange offroad: http://www.lowrangeoffroad.com/index...a-ssp-ust.html
A little more, but they do look pretty well braced and plenty of area for welding to the frame.

I'm in sort of the same boat as you, got all parts on hand, but need a torch and welder(and someone who can weld, in my case).
