I got myself on my index finger and thumb on my left hand three years ago with 3 stitches on each. Right where you pick stuff up. It sucks for a while but it goes away to the point where you don't notice it. Glad it wasn't worse.

.... I almost refrain from mentioning this because it often makes people sick just thinking about it... But it definitely could be much worse and I'm glad that you didn't lose your finger, or should I say thumb?
Around 10 years ago I was running a kitchen and they send me a bunch of students one day from my alumni... I asked everyone what they are good at are comfortable with and one of the guys was very gung ho about doing the meat slicer... Yeah I know... Obviously I watched him and make sure he knew what he was doing and he knew all the safety features and begin to do for a while. After a short while he was done doing pretty much everything I needed the meat slicer 4 so I put him on something else, slicing potatoes for Duphinois.... It's basically a fancy word for scalloped potatoes with heavy cream and parmesan and butter. Anyway, those potatoes need to be very evenly slice because the dish is largely about presentation... The guy sucked with a knife, and so he figured in his brilliance, "hey, I sure love that meat slicer!" About 30 seconds into it, the potatoes being very starchy and often creating a vacuum on certain services caused, somehow, a suction of one of the potatoes into the blade and pulled his thumb just below the nail straight back and peeled it like a banana all the way to the joint, along the bone ! Let's just say it was the very end of his cooking career before it had barely gotten started.

Hey RBx. Sorry about the finger. I know that crap hurts bad. I've had tons of deep cuts on my hands; mostly my fingers.
Hey was wondering if you could take some more pix of your new oil pan installed and possibly with a measuring tape from those high steer bars to the oil pan. Thanks to you I looked at my oil pan and seen that it has hit in the past. You can definitely make out some rubbing had happened. So I'd like to get the problem fixed before a make a wear hole in there. Lol

Bump can is off because it won't clear in this position, It's close to the same position on the other side, but honestly I haven't 'X'd the tops of the towers yet. My buddy is bringing a tram bar over so getting the towers square when they are in the final position will be more accurate then me and a tape measure, well, in theory.
the tower needs to tilt out a bit, but that is going to make it closer to the tire, and I just have little 31.5"x10.5" BS is 4.375" (IIRC). I am just trying to get the most clearance possible. The coil also hits the panhard bracket, the rear of the can mount, I could probably slide the bracket forward 3/8".
Double stuff
Ride height?
Compress driver side
Close, but it clears by about an 1/8"

Wow just seen you replied with a picture of that oil pan. Thanks RBx. That's a huge difference compared to the normal one. I'm gonna have to do this mod in the future. Do you also need to take the 2wd dipstick when you get it?

Air is no substitute for coils when you drive to your wheeling spot. Maybe on the back but I wouldn't want it on the front, I'm sure other folks that know way more then me would argue.

i know this is buried a ways back in your thread but i'm wondering how that puma compressor is holding up? i'm thinking of getting one to replace my quick air 2. how fast does it air up your tires?

Thanks guys.
Puma compressor is holding up well. It's not the fastest at airing up, but I don't have anything to compare it to other then my shop compressor.

Well, I'm still at it, but the clearance is so close with this SAS that I cannot afford to guess if I have enough room before I burn it all in, so I need to get so better backspaced rims and the 35"s on her first. I'll be selling my Firestone A/Ts with the ProComp rims to fund the new shoes and meats.
I'm gonna get these rims...
Interco BirdDog
