dat axle...

how are you doing your extra stud holes for the e-locker? i have a hf drill adapter if you want to use it, but i would have gone with the long-drill-bit-down-the-existing-hole method (after doing mine).

^^^ I will use my drill press for the extra studs. I'll create a jig to hold the press and axle straight....well that's the plan. Thanks for the offer. This is another reason to do this off the truck.

yeah, i couldn't even do the e-locker by itself on-truck. i assume you already have the m8x1.25 tap? you can borrow mine if you need one

...thanks again...Already have the tap.

oh, what part number was the gasket you used for the elocker to axle? I have had a few different part numbers.
I'm going to try to grab a hi-pinion also, and need to locate a part number for that elocker as well(I think they are the same, but i can't find any definitive information).

i didn't use a gasket for the rear, just as a template (you can have mine if you want, if i still have it). i ordered from low-range, so whatever they put on their site

edit: for sealant, i used permatex red, works great, no leaks anywhere. and low-range states:
Flip gasket around for use with either standard pinon e-lockers and High Pinion 3rd members.
so i think you're good with getting two of the same

Duder, how u been?

My cameras often do the dame thing to bright colors, especially primary colors. White balance, noise, brightness all can bring drama with digitals, lol. My Canon-D, not so much, hehe.

Couple pics from today. This pic doesn't do it justice, but there is a small stair step section that I bounce through in the vid above.

nice video. you went pretty fast. should look into regearing and see if it slows you down enough for what you do. you will love the elocker. i only engage mine after i cant make it open. keeps the wear and tear off the tires since you really dont need to me locked the entire trail

Thanks guys for the kind words.

Toyo...I am regearing and moving up to 35's, hopefully that helps, if not i'll get a creeper gear for my t-case. I can't wait for my elocker install. I may have a line on a front HiPinion elocker as well.

Not working on my truck is now becoming a real problem...I have almost every part I think I'll need and cannot start work till I have ALL the parts...maybe a week out from torching the IFS off.

I have been prepping parts, and modifying the axles for the elockers, but i guess i didnt take any pictures...DOH!

The work and progress will be bubbling soon.
