Are you anywhere near Victory VT? I'm from Concord NH but I go up to victory a few times a year, my family owns a landmark up there, great grandpa's blacksmith shop, and the whole thing is sided with license plates. It's pretty unique, but they have a ton of trails out there and I can't wait to hit them this summer. I love how the bed bob came out on your truck, looks awesome with the tires.

Awesome thread. Your rig looks sweet!

My local club has a snow run this Sunday, should have a few more pics next week. Also hopefully picking up some chevy springs on thursday. |

Nice, Pics, brudda! .......BUT WATCH OUT, YOU'RE SURROUNDED BY JEEPS! HAHAHA. It's crazy how pics can have optical illusions.... Looks so much like you're about to smack that tree on a down-hill without the ability to back up too easily... etc., lol. Looks like you had a great time, man!

Yeah, I hear ya... Well, wow, that looked close. Made me think of Yotarob and his sliding back into that tree.... WITH A LOCKER, too. lol. Enjoy the ride, homie! :great: lol. |
Heres a funny story from the ride home from that trip..Truck could not make the driveway in 4wd, when I put the brakes on we started sliding backwards, slid back about 10 feet and jacknifed the trailer into a stone wall. Unhooked the truck and with my girlfriends driving, and me sanding/pushing the ford, managed to get it up the hill. Then drove the blue truck of the front/side of the trailer with about 2psi in the front tires, then dragged the trailer out. What an ordeal. Thought we were home then had to spend 45 min dealing with this. This is the literally the end of my drive way..Haha.

WOW, lol.... what a PITB! lol. Thanks for the Jeep pic as example.... Looks close alright, but now seeing that, I guess some of the CA trails that Scuba and others take are REALLY tight as well. I find some in the Sequoias and Sierras are SUPER TIGHT, and even have friends leaning on one side while we slide through(when I had a step there a couple years ago and the nerf bar on my 5" lifted 86 PU.) I would love to have a rig I could use just for the more 'risky' stuff! hahaha.
Cool pics, sorry bout the drama when getting home:great: |

I had another pulley from the other motor, so on it went, fixed it for 0$. Score. http://i179.photobucket.com/albums/w...3/P2240273.jpg http://i179.photobucket.com/albums/w...3/P2240274.jpg The gear slid forward, chewing through the housing. http://i179.photobucket.com/albums/w...3/P2240275.jpg Back in place: http://i179.photobucket.com/albums/w...3/P2240276.jpg And some light snow wheelin http://i179.photobucket.com/albums/w...3/P2240285.jpg http://i179.photobucket.com/albums/w...3/P2240286.jpg http://i179.photobucket.com/albums/w...3/P2250287.jpg http://i179.photobucket.com/albums/w...3/P2250288.jpg http://i179.photobucket.com/albums/w...3/P2250290.jpg http://i179.photobucket.com/albums/w...3/P2250291.jpg http://i179.photobucket.com/albums/w...3/P2250292.jpg And 4wheelinvt hooked me up with some 48" springs. So I should have some action shots after that. |
Nice work on the bumper, are you adding more to it?
|
I might later on, but am going to leave as is for now. I was running that stock bumper with busted mounts with no issues. I dont generally run into things. The main point of the bumper was to have something to mount the winch on.
|
You have to watch those moving trees...lol
|
I put this in the post your pics thread...but wanted it here too.
http://images1.snapfish.com/23232323...3A452335nu0mrj For some reason, I cant figure out why the inside of my tires are wearing so fast. |
