LOL! YEah, just out playing with visiting friends. I 'm shopping for a proper fishing kayak. Ocean Kayak Prowler seems good. Long enough for efficiency. Still need to test how stable it is for my weight (I'm light so kayak floats higher = higher center of gravity).

It's at 2000 Avenida de la Playa (La Jolla Shores). Vehicles are allowed only for loading/unloading. Best place for kayaking in SD:
Waves are smaller because it's sheltered
Near La Jolla Kelp bed for fishing.
Very scenic La Jolla Caves.
There's nice picnic area and playground for kids,
Near Surfing area

I spent alot of time in La Jolla area, brought back alot of great memories. To bad fuel is so expensive, I would enjoy a vacation back out there. I seen them bring a ship load of kelp/seaweed a day. It is apparently has a lot of uses.

Yes, it's a good yak. You might consider the Prowler 13 or Trident 13 (more stable). I use the Malibu Kayak's X-13 (use to be sponsored by them), and I'm happy with it. If your into distance paddling, sit-on-tops aren't the way to go, gotta go sit inside.

If you consider wilderness or malibu let me know...have a contact. He doesn't sell Ocean though.

Terry, there's a few guys who come in from yakk'n all the time and always have a few strands of bull kelp to throw in the garden, they say it's good fertilizer.

Hey Ray,

I saw this post https://www.yotatech.com/forums/f116...ersion-272021/

What do you think of that harness he got from ebay? plugging into the original wiring? does that still address the issue since the power comes directly from the battery? $37 is a nice price for a headlight improvement.

Yes, Grego, that seems a good one. That's plug and play. All high current to bulb will be handled by the wiring and the relays. Power will run from battery, through relay, to bulb, to chassis ground via the screw-in terminals on black wire, so current path is shortened significantly and over wires thicker than stock. Stock current path is around 15 feet of thin wire.

Thanks Ray, I'm going to go ahead and try it out, seems pretty easy. I'll probably take the inline fuse off the power wire and connect it to my distribution fuse block.

Cool. Most welcome. Your distribution block is different from stock fuse block, correct? IF so, yes, OK to get power from it.

Nice, Mark. Wow, when I read your much earlier posts, you said you weren't planning to go too crazy on Ruby Redrum. Obviously you changed your mind- LOL!

BTW, Wanna try to chip away slowly at my suspension refurb so wanna install the Rancho rear shocks. Those were installed on your Zuk'd rears, correct? So plug n play on mine, too?

Oh Yeah, in regards to the SAS,.... that was going to be on a separate rig... But, then when I thought about the hundreds of hours of chasing gremlins and everything else with this one, I figured why take on a whole nother can of worms,.... unless I was just going to turn around and resell for profit.

Escondido (http://www.stoneworldbistro.com/home.asp). Good food there, too, but pricey so I just go for appetizers.

I go there all the time, not really for the food..

wed nights they do movies...

When you took your rig into a shop, would you recommend that them?

my rear third is not happy, and I don't have time to deal with it.
