Ray u might wanna check the small nut and bolt that hold all uour leaf layer together. One of my rear springs was like that too. And a nice tightening of that fixed it right up. You'll need pressure pliers or w/e its called and a socket. I think 12mm. Only thing is u gotra remove the spring to do that. Hope you fix the problem! Let us know what it ended up being.

Probably. Check the strap nuts and u bolts. And' I've seen ppl saying their Zuk caused serious axle wrap. This feels like a rear wheel drive hotrod when it wraps as the car takes off, causing it to Lunge in a right or left direction?

I would loosen the bolts some and BFH it a few times and think you will be ok. Wonder what caused it to slide over in the first place?

Take the pressure off the pack first, bubba...

Jack it up by the frame/hitch and once it reaches that sweet spot, ... you should be able to loosen whichever side and smack her back into place. (doesn't sound right! ) hehe.

How you doing, mang?

Yeah wondering what caused it. Altho it might have already been like that. I remember that right after i finished my Zuk, I heard that scraping sound. Maybe I just did not see it sooner. Thanks guys! Pretty busy but good.

Now selling the used road tires with lots of tread left:
  • Toyo Eclipse, 225/75R15 70% tread left
  • Hankook Mileage Plus, 225/75R15 70% tread left
What do you guys think would be a fair price for these?

Yes, Grego. I've always wondered why BFG did not make a hybrid of All-terrain and Mud Terrains - All terrain in middle, Mud-Terrain on shoulder. Goodyear beat them to reading my mind - LOL! Shoulder lugs on these are of course milder than MTs

Phil, I haven't driven on freeway, yet. Only around 55 MPH on Highway. I notice it's only slightly louder than my old road tires. This this is my DD, but slightly louder is OK for me because, I have downsized my office commute to 7 minutes
If and when I'm on the freeway, I would be looking forward to the end of the road, I would not notice the slightly higher noise - LOL!

One drawback, according to reviews is less tread mileage than BFG A/T, but again my short daily drive makes that less of an issue.

Grego,
Any update on your interior light wiring?

Phil,
Re: Your alt wiring, Will post more comments as soon as I can.

Hey Ray, no, no update yet. I ended having to do some stuff on my frontier. Ever use that 3M clear bra stuff? Works great, but when it's time to remove and replace it's a chore! I finally figured out how to remove the adhesive that is left after removing the old stuff (goo gone pro, heat gun, and terry cloth). I had the stuff put on the front hood and bumper area 3 weeks after I purchased it Dec 05' (05' Frontier V6 4x4 Nismo) and it lasted until about 4 months ago. Like brand new underneath.

I'm going to go through your instructions and testing this Friday. So stay tuned. Also, I bought all the stuff for a Big 3 Upgrade - 4 gauge wire, connectors, in-line 80amp fuse for the positive battery to alt, a 6 circuit fuse distribution box like Richard/Chef and the 120amp alternator. The 120 was $15 cheaper than the 130, so I went that route knowing I wouldn't even really need the 120.

I looked at this chart http://www.the12volt.com/info/recwirsz.asp? and figured 4 gauge was more than good.

I wouldnt know a fair price for your used tires. I will say I sold some awhile back and even before I logged off of Craigslist, I had a call on them. A minute later another call and 15 minuest after those, I had two more calls. They sell quick. I also sold some that was going to cost me 5 dollars apiece to dispose of. I posted them as well and got some quick calls on them. Instead of spending $20 dollars to get rid of them, I got $25. Not saying you should sell yours that cheap. These were bald, but they guys were wanting them to use on trailers and thought it was a deal.

Those tires do look great on there. What a difference it makes when getting new tires on a ride. One of these days I want to look into your harness upgrade. Truck is coming along nicely.

Thanks, Terry.
Yeah, they promise to have better traction off-road and no significant additional noise.
Road tires have decent tread left so hoping the set sells for $50 (https://post.craigslist.org/manage/3748146875/bmdrz)
Regards,
Ray

Wow, what a difference some shoes make! Great looking!

The noise things, you'll get over that quick. Not to mention you have all kinds of insulation now. I run 32 straight MT's and I don't notice it at all anymore. Especially with the radio on, hahahahaha! Great find! Old Ruby Tuesday is looking sick

Tires like those would go for $100 and higher around here and wouldnt last long at all. Those have alot of tread left and look to be really well taken care of.

Thanks Mark and Terry,

Here are tires on Craigslist, in case anyone in SD is interested:

Mark,
I'm hoping that all will get better with your mom. Tough to be a caregiver.

RAD - just wanted to let you know I did your starter relay mod, snipped the black wire going to from the ignition contacts to the starter relay and ran a fused wire straight to the battery. Thanks for the info and the detailed pics, you made that into a 20 minute job. Hopefully my "click" goes away for good.

Good to know, Cory. And you're most welcome. I hope it helps, too.
