thanks for the post. I see he retrofitted some s10 parts. But the only thing I am having issue is the master cylinder. I got the wilwood one on the way. I will use other info off his page though. Thanks again any help is better than none
Started the removal.. Little test fit. These things fit tight!. Dont be afraid to give it a little force. This was just a trial. I still gotta work my skeleton some due to removal of metal and these should fit just fine.. so far so good. Fiberglass looks to be beefed up in areas as needed, to me atleast..
I got my rear quarters on and bonded with panel bonder I cleaned the areas well before bonding. Came out pretty good for first time. Lines are solid. I've had to use seam sealer to help fill gaps due to bent metal and the fiberglass not touching just a few areas to ensure no water gets in while driving. Keep in mind the fiberglass is thicker so I've still got areas to smooth off somewhat. Other than that great product.
Sorry everyone I haven't posted lately. Been busy and haven't had much time to mess with it. Well few updates. I got my dual exhaust done, cut out the rear cargo area and replaced the portion out with a parts 4runner I got along with the tailgate it had, got an arb bumper on trade lol. The engine runs great after working on a ground issue.
Filled that big hike I had. Still figuring out what I want for a 4x4 shifter and how I wanna run it.
Got a little bit of passenger rear panel and front door panel mods coming. I kept the original covers that were glued to the fiber board stuff. Make it rigid with 1/4 underlayment board and look stock. We will see how this comes out. This has been done on here already just taking on the project myself now
sorry for not posting in awhile. Got busy with other stuff. Well a few little updates, I got all my gauges done for the inside and the fuel level one does work, it's all auto meter and works great. I redid my crossmember, and used some DOM tubing with mounts on the inside of the frame i got from lowrange website as a dyi thing. I also got the rear elocker mod. Currently still working on buying the harness from 12volt guy. I'll try to keep more updates coming.
