Thanks.
I'm happy with the 33's and 4.88's. They are just right IMO.
Thank you.
Thank you.

Wow Kudos on the new mall cruzer parts just a little extra glitz when parked at the mall and extra room for the stroller and diper bag...but I still think you need to get back of the head rest DVD player for the cartoons to keep the new little one occupied some veggie tales DVD for the trail....lol enjoy

Update...
I did a valve adjustment a couple days ago, after a pop in the exhaust developed at idle. I figured an exhaust valve was too tight. It turned out that all the valves were a little tight. I adjusted them back to spec, then called Tod at Engnbldr to see if I should be concerned. Tod said to adjust the valves to .007 intake, and .009 exhaust, per their recommendation for my setup. Then re-check them at the next scheduled oil change. I'll keep my thread updated on this issue.
Also, today I swapped my rear driveshaft out, with a spare I had lying around. I had to replace one of the u-joints, but otherwise it was quick and painless. My old driveshaft was pretty beat up and dented from trail abuse, so it was time for a replacement.

We went to Shuteye Peak a couple weeks ago, and there was hardly any snow. Only a couple feet near the summit at 8500' elevation. Not to promising for fun in the snow this season, I'm afraid.

Hey man, ........
On my old motor with the new CAM, I adjusted mine at 7 and 9 and had a lil 'blip...............blip-blip' going on... No popping, but a clear miss. It's hard to tell how much had to do with the cam, because I then rebuilt another 22re and fully rebuilt the head with new guides/valves/seals, lil porting/etc..... But, what I do know is that after breaking in the new motor(800 miles or so after trip to Havasu).... I pulled the cover and checked and the valves were all right on the button.... Before, I had kept getting 'changes', with the old motor. Well, what I remembered was this; When I took ALL things into the new machinist... He checked the engnbldr cam and found it was around 10thousandths off in the center. I was told by Tod and Ted that this is very common. Looked it up more and found many said the same, and, that it was not a big deal. However, my new machinist being a bit more anal(THANK GOD), he encouraged me to take it to Engle Bros. Cams in Gardena(?).... They put it on this special machine, spun it like a lathe would, then "PING, PING", couple times in the center at the 'right time' and VOILA, it was '0-0-0' on all 3 journals... I mean, perfect! Well, after that, it just PURRS! I'm sure it's nothing to be concerned over even if it was a few thousandths off, ya know? But, I can say I notice a lil difference, FWIW.

Long time, no update. No valvetrain issues since my last post. I had starter issues again, so I ditched the aftermarket rebuilt unit, and bought a 1.4kw Toyota reman. Turns over much better than ever before. Also, I put in an order for some LED replacement bulbs from superbrightleds.com, including a new dome light. I still have some work to do on the lights, but I'll post some pics when it's done. The dome light is installed, and works great. I got another passenger side seat from a buddy, so it slides forward once again. It will get me by until I find some replacements. Today I replaced the recently broken parking brake cable. Good times.
Our new baby boy arrived 2/26, so we've been a little preoccupied. So much fun!

Wow, seriously, ... congratz ! I am so happy for you, having a healthy lil bittle, ....your lady's healthy, ....good relationship, etc! :woot:
What happened with the valve noise?
Got a list of the bulb numbers? hahaha(Did you use the festoon for the dome and rear cargo?)
Really..... I'm very excited for you, Buddy!
