Ok, Jacob and Adam we need to start on are winter lists of projects...
My list is: twin case, SAS, over head console, stripping Coni's 4runner clean and get rid of the carces, strip the GMC and get rid of that carces, pull the motor on my 4runner and rebuild...now I need to know what you guys are thinking so I can work you all in on rack time

I'm just getting ready to start working on the suspension. My front LCA brackets were bent in a bit, so I straightened them out on my friends' frame rack. Now I need to replace the driver side LCA and possibly the steering knuckle. Once things are back where they need to be, I'll brace the brackets and get ready for the LT.

From: Bryan Tx,
Planning on Blazeland or TC LT? Hopefully Blazeland will be in the not so distant future for mine.

I'll be digging into my IFS soon, so just gonna keep an eye on your progress and check my 'goodies and undergarments' as well! lol.

Take care, bud,

With all there was to do for the holidays, as well as moving into a different house, I haven't had very much time to work on the 4Runner. However, I finally got the bent LCA replaced, and the alignment came out okay. Now I can get the IFS brace built and installed, and get ready for the suspension mods.

Dbcfr hooked me up with the control arm, as well as some other IFS goodies he didn't need, since he's going SAS. I got a Downey skid plate, low profile droop stops, and an SDORI idler arm bushing kit. I'm pretty excited to have made a little progress, as spare time has been very hard to come by lately. Here are a couple pics.

Replaced driver side LCA...

Idler arm and bronze bushing kit...

Downey skid plate...

How's it going Robert? I've been working a lot of weekends lately, so not much time for wheeling. We're itching to get out there and play though! I saw your Hollister thread, looks like you guys had a good time. Always an open invitation for you to come over and see the sights with us. Mountain Cop and Dbcfr should have their rigs ready for some serious wheeling soon.

doing good man, thanks .. staying busy and out of trouble.
hollister is always fun , we should meet up there one day.
went up to yosemite today , just for the day .. yea 4 hour drive one way
me my wife and kids my friend and his family went up there. we spent some time in mariposa looking thru the hardware stores for some liquified butane , but couldnt find any. ace, pioneer, truevalue nothing, groups of cyclists all over the place though , and surprised there was no snow there.
we let the kids play on the tubes up at badger pass , then went back down to the valley and barbecued at the el capitan picnic area.. was cool some snow there but not much, just enough for the kids to play on the sleds ... did have fun , long day just got back home a little while ago .

maybe a couple weeks we can get in a snow run .

Holy crap, dude!

I was up in the valley with some friends this afternoon, and as we were walking by the El Cap picnic area we could smell someone cooking up something good. Now I wish I'd stopped by to actually meet you!

Glad to hear you guys had a good time Robert! It snowed a bunch up there today, so wheeling in a couple weeks should be good. Definitely let us know if you come out this way again.

MC, I talked to Dbcfr tonight... Sounds like his truck is just about done. That thing is going to be like a tank! I'm going to head over to his place Wednesday to check it out, and do some work on my 4Runner. Cruise by if you get a chance.
