I didnt drive it on 11+ quarts of oil. I only started it, noticed it was smoking and shut it down. It wasnt driven on 11 quarts, so no damage was done.

I just drove it, and everything is perfectly fine. no problems. Gonna pop the fan shroud on and then put a new exhaust gasket in to fix the leak. then... who knows. I might still throw it on CL. Im ready for something new i think.

Crazy story on the oil. Hope it's not related to recent personal events. I can easily develop a theory on that.....

Now, we can add overfilled oil to the list of possabilities for a smoking engine.

Good to hear that! Some can be quite vindictive afterwards. Hope it all works out for the best.

I had it up about 2-3 months ago for 8k and a guy came by and had the cash in hand, but i couldn't see it go. so i backed out. but I might ask for 8.5k since I have new CV joints now, front brakes, and a ready to put on lift kit for it.

I have about 12-13k in mods, about 5-6k in maintenance. blue books for 3.2k. Everything works. 8.5k seems like a more than reasonable price for it. Just clocked over 169k.

Wow, ..... that just ......WOW! HAHAHA.

Who in the heck would waste 15$ on oil to put in the vehicle of someone else? Talk about NUTS! hahaha.

One thing I DID find on mine(over full factor) was when I went to check the fluid on the T-case.... It kept flowing and flowing and flowing.... I was like, "WTH?" Come to find out, the rear trans output shaft seal was leaking, slowly, trans fluid, into the T-case. The trans BARELY leaked from the input shaft seal behind the bearing retainer... So that made sense as to 'why is my trans fluid low...where's it going??', and then seeing the T-case WAY over full...... But just tripped me out, I had no idea it could do that, haha.

GREAT NEWS, and even if you just decide to roll it for a while.... GREAT, you now have more choices! Choices/options are always great, yeah? lol.

169K? Yeah, that's NICE for anyone who just wants to 'get in an already moded rig and GO'....

It's a nice truck, .....but yeah, you're right, it is, in indeed, just a 'thing'. Plenty other 'things' out there that you've probably wanted, right? hahaa.

BTW, good to hear you guys are talking/maybe working on some things!

WOW, you decided quick! haha. ... Hey, THAT'S THE BEST and ONLY way to do things, man... I mean, if it was a HOUSE or something that you needed to think on more... Makes sense.. But in this case... I TOTALLY get it! You're 'DONE', as they say... starting fresh.

Did you see that LC I posted? Is that what you mean by 'white/silver'? Thing was PRETTY nice, anyway... Just think he's a bit high.. But CLEAN, and no rusted out roof or such, IIRC.

What a relief. Glad the runner is still going strong. Too bad your selling it but the 3.4 runner is a better expo rig. That's why I haven't taken my 3.0 any where too too far. I'm looking to sell my s2000 for a 2012+ runner to be my expo toy and keep this runner for everything else

Ahhh, yeah, I hear ya... NOt a hop, skip and rock toss away, I know. I just thought you hit Redondo Beach on visits somewhat frequently... In which case you'd be VERY close, haha.

I've only been to Redondo Beach twice, and that was because my Ex's dad lives in that area. ( which she decided to call me at 12:30 at night balling her eyes out because she couldn't take lying to me anymore. She cheated on me with her baby's dad on June 5th while i was out with some friends. which is why she was "depresssed" and not "feeling right" on the 7th, which is why we broke up. ) lmfao... Stupid F***ing whore.

Honestly. my life is a roller coaster right now, its funny because yesterday selling the 4Runner seemed like a great idea, but now it doesn't. but I'll leave it on there and see what happens. but yeah. Got a full day of work ahead of me. Best to stay positive!

Yeah, "Positive".... that's tough at times like this.. but POSSIBLE! Not playing devils advocate... but at least she told you.... NOTHING makes my blood boil more than continuing to lie about stuff like that. But, bottom line; I've seen my buddies, even some of them girls, literally devastated by cheating... it is, plain and simple, a SELFISH, total lack of self control move! Why not just BE HONEST and say, "Hey, let's play the field".... But NO, so many have this thinking of "Hmmmm, lemme try this out, and then decide"... just disgraceful... Sorry man, but GLAD YOU'RE NOW AWARE, at least, eh?

You could always sell it a year from now... Do all the stuff you wanted to do, then drive it a few months to see... I mean, to have to start all over on something else... that's part of the equation that I wouldn't mind but would REALLY not want to spare the time I don't have right now to do, hahaha. Either way, ..... hope it works out without regret... cuz THAT sucks! haha.
