Ahhhh! I see lots of sites, including 22REPERFORMANCE.COM saying "it's about time at a quarter million miles that these tend to go out on people fairly often"... and they sell the clutch, fairly reasonably... Didn't know that. BUT, maybe your clutch is different than mine, eh? hahaha.

So since I cant sell my 17 FJ Cruiser steelies. Im thinking I might just run them on my truck in a 285/75R17. ( 33.8 x 11.2 ) when I lift my truck. and just sell my 33x10.50s with the rims for a nice price. We'll see how it goes.

doing 1.5" BJ spacers. Gotta pull out the air compressor and get the air cutter going. I want it done "perfectly" ( im a perfectionist ) so i dont want to have to take a grinder to it. lol

Bj spacer made a huge difference for my rig. I was blown away. Very happy with the mod. Oh and it will also make a huge difference in your alignment. Like "outer space" difference. So get one soon before your tires feel the pain.

Hahahahaha! yeah, .... I did a pretty clean job with a 4.5" grinder! lol. Were I to attack that endeavor again.... it'd be with a 2"/ Air / Cutting wheel. Yet..... no grinder? Yeah, I'm not sure on that one as far as maybe a LILLLLLLLL finish work, lol. See, that grinding will result in less GIANT LACERATIONS! lol. Jk, but you KWIMean... It's pretty sharp after that cut, lol.
Right on... I, too, roll the spacer mod! lol. I DO see/feel a difference when wheeling..... Great investment for cheap.
Anyway, best wishes on the work ahead and BE CAREFUL! Wear them Eye Goggles! lol. OH, gloves too, .... that heavy gauge a-arm be throwing some SPARKAGE! lol.

So a bit of bad news... The 4Runner blew its headgasket again. ( it blew it the first time exactly a year ago ) I'm a bit bummed about the car as a whole and after I get the warranty work done on it, Im seriously thinking of just parting with it. :/ So we'll see.

Bummer, on the HG. Sorry I jinxed ya on your intermittent overheating thread.
BTW, my 100 year old grandmother lives in an assisted living place in Roseville on Sunrise. Wave to her for me as you drive by that area.
