yeah exactly. It wont be like squaw... I drop all my gear off at the camp site and go play. and it rides perfectly normal ( with about a 1" sag in the back ) with everything unloaded... it should be fine.
plus I like the extra 500 bucks

Couple updates.
1) since I smashed my exhaust at squaw ridge, I went with something a little more high clearance. its routed pretty nicely and i'd have to be extremely unlucky to get a rock or anything to hit it just right.
2) Good thing I didn't order the rear lift, because honestly, Im just looking for something cheap and temporary for right now ( since pismo is around the corner ) So I bought these off a friend for 50 bucks shipped! gonna pop them in when I get them and see how the stance is... If i dont like them, thats fine, its only 50 bucks and I want 901 coils anyway... like i said, this is a cheap and temporary thing. These are the 4 crawler 2" spacers.

i dont see nothing wrong with using spring spacers... maybe i missed something? just need longer shocks if you dont already and not sure if you need to get one of those adjustable panhard bars?

I shouldn't need any of that. the truck is permanently sagging, therefore these spacers should bring it to the correct ride height, which is stock. Should require no modification other than the coil spacers.

the cool thing about using stock length shocks with a lift in the rear of the 2nd gen runners is that you can get away using the stock length shocks... yes, itll bottom out sooner, but a shock extending to its max is better than a shock compressing past its max...
also, the 5 link design on those trucks wont let the rear droop so much as to harm or twist the shocks... trust me, i ran stock length shocks on wheeling trips for over a year...

not to burst your bubble mike, but Cali changes the regulation and standards for smog every year. You can see if you check old smog sheets. Cali will keep doing there damnedest to get us to buy new cars too support there tax habit. Its not a wonder why Cali has a 17% sales tax on cars. LOL.

yeah dude, it sucks so bad. They really need to induce the "certain age limit cars dont need to smog " because honestly, we dont stand a chance in hell measuring up to a brand new 2012 vehicle in terms of "pollution" Technically speaking its illegal to force us to buy anything when the vehicles were operating run perfectly fine.
