persevere. i like it! i was fortunate on my 2016 western trip. 8500 miles in 31 days, only had to replace a headlight bulb in omaha on the way home, and the water pump failed in my garage overnight the day i returned.

How about that. It's a small world. I have 3 adult step children in that area!

Just thought I'd throw that out there.
Like I say, small world!

May I know where you got your marker lights? I bought one through Ebay, made in Taiwan, but I struggle to make it fit.
I think clear would be most efficient when using colored LED bulb.

I believe I had the same issue, if I remember correctly I swapped the clear lenses into the oem housings

Back in the home shop - finished by driving 19 hours straight through from Cheyanne back to Fort Wayne, got home at 9am this morning, and just woke up from a 6 hour nap...
I-80 from Cheyanne to Lincoln was dreadful with the windows down- after the sun went down things were more pleasant and driving all night was great by comparison
190085 - 185497 = 4588 + 8% = 4955 miles! Time for another oil change. I have all the gallons of gas, need to sit down and add them up. The truck was an absolute champ, other than the oil seal story it performed flawlessly.
Some pictures of what the truck looked like at the end. The sweater on the seat was clutch in preventing my back from going out. The plastic bag on the T-case stopped hot air from blowing in.
1 week in Idaho and a week and a half in yellowstone/ grand teton. Plenty of backpacking, got charged by a grizzly bear, and had an absolute blast.
Sad it's over, but time to get back to work on that shiny van in the background...
