oh def... doin it myself, gotta cnc to cut out the centers and plenty of welders to put the centers in, im getting rock rings and dished centers from c&m, these are the rock rings im going with: i know that there gonna be really heavy but it will be worth it in the end run. i already have longs so now i just gotta worry bout trunnions and hubs. gonna do the trunnion eliminator from tg. and probably drill and tap my hubs for 3/8 stainless bolts and drill for 6 pins as well.

Yeah, they take alot, but that's the weakest part of a fully built toyota axle. I'm sure you won't have any problems if you've been fine so far, but I know of a few guys that eat through 8" ring gears, and that's the main reason for going one tons.

nice swap. Im a new member and havent had a chance to search through all of the pages. i know im posting on someones elses thread. I also did a solid axle swap on my truck but my front springs are too short does anyone have any good ideas for 47" springs for off road flex and safe for freeway speeds. i was thinking all pro offroad, or lowrangeoffroad superflex springs. any ideas?
