I ripped out all the interior from the rear seats back. I'm glad I did because I found some holes in the body from rust that need attention. They don't appear to be too hard to fix but I'm no body man. I'll need to get myself a mig welder to fix it. I also picked up an led light bar on Amazon. It is 21.5in long and I got it got 160 shipped. I can't mount it yet but I weird it up and it's extremely bright. I was very happy with the deal as it came with all the wiring, relay, and switch to put it all together. I'll take some pictures later in the week. Working 7 12s is giving me very little free time.

installed my LED light bar yesterday. wiring was simple and easy to read. the tabs to bolt the light to were welded up by a local fab shop. i also put in a temp gauge since my stock sr5 stopped working again. overall im happy with the results.
cant really tell from this how bright it is, but im sure on coming traffic does.

Looks SICK!! So the last pic of the highway has 2 solid lines with a dashed line in the middle. Does that mean no passing unless you have a bada$$ led lightbar??

Picked up a Lincoln 125 pro core wire welder brand new in the box for 200 of a guy on craigslist. To make it run on argon or 75/25 mix i need a regulator and a bottle as it's already internally setup for it. I can finally start fabricating on the road.

UPDATE
i quit that job in lousiana december 2nd and decided to pursue something close to home. i really enjoyed working on the road (nearly 10 years) but money isnt always everything. on my trip back, i had the same wheel bearing fail that i had replaced on the way down in mena arkansas. i thought it was making an odd noise and sure enough, it was. i was south of joplin about 30 minutes and decided the best place to stop would be joplin. i quickly jumped on yotatech and did a search of joplin. multiple threads popped up with terrys87 so i decided to message him when i got to my room about my problem. he ended up calling me around 11pm to help the next morning. we found a mechanic in carthage to check it out and sure enough, the work previous had failed due to there lack of tools.
ill post the 2 pictures later today but instead of using the correct 2 1/8th or 54mm socket to take off and put on the axle nut, they used a flat head screw driver and a hammer. what happened was pieces of the nuts broke off and got caught in the wheel bearing and caused the failure. it was only a matter of time before it locked up and sent me off the road.
terrys87 thank you thank you thank you for bringing the correct tools to the new guys shop to fix me up! without it i would of had to do it the wrong way again, potentially causing more problems. he also deburred the nuts to make sure no more metal would get in the bearings and shut me down again. hopefully what i slipped you at the end was worth your time!! i really appreciate what you did. ill make sure to drag kornhuskerwizard down to meet you.
i hit the junk yard the day after i made it and scored some new lockouts, both wing windows, cold start switch *not the correct one but it worked* and a fuel pump relay. kornhuskerwizard got my wing window properly installed and showed me how as well. its extremely simple just keep your bolts in a safe spot.
back to the cold start switch. i found on a cold morning it wouldnt start and it was due to my cold start switch broke off. dealership wanted way to much, along with every parts store that had to order it (180+) ebay wanted 20-50 so i hit the u pull it. every 22re vehicle there had no intake and every 3.0 i found took way to much work to get it out. i came across multiple 3.0 camrys that had a similar part number and decided to try it (89462-20020 uses the same 22mm wrench as well) and it worked! so if youre in a bind, and your switch is bad, the early 90s camry/mr2/celica uses a cold start switch that will work. it cost me 5 bucks and its easier to access than the one on the 22re.

Glad to hear it went a little better for you and glad that I could help. Always like hearing when other parts interchange. Good find on that. Having a job closer to home will be nicer. I know what that is like working long days like that away from home. Hotels do get old after a while no matter how nice they are.

so today i was coming home from work and see a deer about 100ft ahead crossing the road. first thought is there are more, and to slow down. before i know it a large doe comes out. i slam the brakes and crank it right which did nothing with the brakes locked. the dead hit the front driver side, the body spun around and smashed my fender, door and rear quarter. the corner light plastic broke off as well but im glad i reinforced that bumper because it could of taken out a lot more. i felt bad because it was still alive but i took care of it.

Ouch!!! Deer and trucks don't mix well. I have seen where their long bodies wrap around and do further damage then just the front end like what happened to you. He did a number on you. Luckily it looks like it is just body panel damage that can be fixed and you didn't get hurt. I have seen a few deer hit and stuck a few in the freezer if I seen them hit and not much damage to the deer. Glad to hear you are ok otherwise.
